Publicly available information

Most of the information on the website is available to the general public.

  • Home - Current and up coming events and news, everything you need to keep up to date with the latest at the TBA.

  • Calendar - A detailed calendar of events and sessions, including national events and significant events from other Tasmanian clubs.

  • Results - Club and state results

    • All results - Link to our external site that hosts all of our results, current and historic.
    • Our results - Recent results hosted on the TBA website. This feature is still being developed so if you can't find the results you are looking for here, try the full results site.
    • My Comments - The results system allows signed in members to annotate baords with comments. This page lists all of your comments.
    • Honours - The TBA honour board, listing members and players who have won events, held offices or achieved notable milestones. View by year, achievement or player.
    • Masterpoints - McCutcheon Rankings for the TBA and Tasmania, sourced from the ABFMasterpoint Centre

  • News - An archive of the news posts (newsletters, event reports, notices etc) going back to 2019. Search or view by category or author.

  • Topics - Pages dedicated to specific topics of interest:

    • Learn - Information about learning and improving at the game.
    • Membership - Information about becoming a member of the TBA and the annual membership renewal process.
    • Jackpot Pairs - Information about the Jackpot Pairs competition that runs throughout the year.
    • TFoB - Pages dedicated to the Tasmanian Festival of Bridge, the premier Tasmanian bridge event. Past years: 2026, 2025

  • MyABF - A link to the ABF's MyABF system, used for event entries, Bridge Credits and more.

  • More - More functionality

    • Library - The full cataglogue of the TBA's bridge library, including details of over 500 titles. Non-reference titles are available for members to borrow.
    • Documents - Our online library of key documents, including governance documents, policies and procedures.
    • Annual Plan - Planning the calendar of bridge events across the state and coordinating between the clubs and the ABF to avoid clashes is a challenging task. This page is used by the TBA and club representatives to plan next year's calendar.

  • About - A wealth of other information:

    • Sessions - Details of the regular sessions held at the TBA each week.
    • Who's Who - A rogues gallery of the current TBA Committee, office holders, and volunteer positions.
    • Resources - An evolving list of links to bridge resources around the web.
    • About the TBA - Information about the TBA, our activities and our purpose.
    • Affiliated Clubs - A page for each of the affiliated bridge clubs in Tasmania.
    • Start here - A page specifically for people interested in learning to play bridge, or existing players new to the TBA or just visiting. Some useful links and a dedicated contact form to get enquiries to the right people.
    • Contact Us - Contact information, bank account details, venue hire details and a general contact form.
For logged on users

While most of the site is available to the general public, some features are restricted to members with an registered account on the site.

Accounts will be rolled out to all TBA members shortly.

Logged on users will see a drop down menu under their name with the following options:
- My images - A gallery of images on teh site that the user has been tagged in.
- My library loans - The user's current and previous loans from the TBA library.
- Edit profile - Allows a user to change their profile information and set preferences.
- My Masterpoints - A summary of the users current Masterpoints and their history over the last 12 months.
- Logout - Log out of the users account.

For administrative users

Some users have administrative functions on the website (eg Directors, site administrators, news authors, librarians). These users will also see either an Admin or Director menu with a range of options depending on their role.
